Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These terms govern use of the Veralex website, dashboard, and license-management service. By using the service you agree to them.
The service
Veralex provides floating-license and seat-management infrastructure for software vendors: dedicated license servers, a management dashboard, and an HTTP API for seat checkout, heartbeat, and check-in. Service scope, seat counts, and pricing are agreed with each vendor individually.
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your dashboard credentials and API tokens, and for all activity performed with them. Notify us promptly at hello@veralex.dev if you believe a credential has been compromised.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to access other vendors' data or circumvent seat-count enforcement.
- Don't probe, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the API within any rate or fair-use limits communicated to you.
Availability
We work hard to keep license servers fast and available, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where practical.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship as set out in the applicable vendor agreement. We may suspend access immediately if these terms are materially breached.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
