Applications check out a seat when they start and check it back in when they're done. Heartbeat-backed leases mean crashed clients release their seats automatically — no orphaned licenses, no support tickets.

Dedicated license servers

Every vendor gets an isolated license server with its own database — your license data is never pooled with anyone else's. Servers are deployed regionally to keep checkout latency low.

Scoped API tokens

A layered token model — admin, manager, and client scopes — lets you delegate exactly as much control as each integration needs, and revoke it just as easily.

Checkout, heartbeat, and check-in are plain HTTPS calls with bearer-token auth. Integrate from any language in an afternoon; no proprietary SDK required.

How it works

  1. We provision your license server. A dedicated Veralex server is deployed in your region with your products and seat counts loaded.

  2. Your application checks out a seat. On startup, your software makes a single HTTPS call to acquire a lease from the shared pool.

  3. Heartbeats keep the lease alive. While the app runs, periodic heartbeats extend the lease; when it exits (or crashes), the seat returns to the pool.

  4. You watch it all from the dashboard. Active leases, seat utilization, and token management — live, in one place.
